Project Engineer

Position Description

Position Type: Full-time
Development and design of new products along with modification and support of existing product designs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new burner products for current and new applications
  • Carry out complete testing and data documentation of new product designs
  • Recommend applicable new technologies and new potential product applications
  • Analyze customer applications and integrate product development into a new systems
  • Coordinate and initiate research and development activities
  • Recommend new laboratory equipment
  • Coordinate prototype activities with model shop, purchasing and outside vendors
  • Initiate cost reduction ideas and integrate them into product designs
  • Generate engineering reports and laboratory test reports
  • Develop necessary documentation to substantiate patent applications
  • Work with end customers to finalize designs and product certifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of heating and commercial /industrial combustion
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess strong organization skills
  • Must have good communications skills
  • Agency certification knowledge preferred
  • Gas combustion analysis equipment knowledge preferred
