  1. High Turn Down. The burner is capable of 30 to 1 turn down ratio. The capability of high turn
    down burners are well known for providing precise temperature control for heating and processing
    applications. The equipment will have less temperature fluctuation compared to an on-off system or
    conventional 3-1 or 10-1 modulating burner. It has been proven that a high turn down burner is able
    to provide comfort for the end user plus the benefi t of energy saving. For industrial applications, the
    Unipower VA Series high turn down capabilities provide the benefit of precise set temperature control without having to worry about over or under heating. That translates to a higher quality end product and reduction of energy usage.

  2. Linkageless.The Unipower VA Series burner is one of the easiest high-turn down burners to setup in the industry. There is no linkage to setup and complicated electronics to program. The air-fuel modulation is basically achieved through the relationship of the supplied air pressure and the output pressure. The combustion air motor used is a variable speed blower, which creates a pressure relative to the air output. By using this air pressure in the blower, output gas pressure can be varied relative to the air pressure through a ratio regulator.

  3. Agency Approval. The Unipower VA Series burners are UL and CUL listed.

  4. Low Excess Air.The Unipower VA Series can operate as low as 7% excess air (1.5% O2 at flue) at
    high fire with low CO emissions. This translates to energy saving and a lower carbon foot print. Usually, a
    commercial power burner requires 25% excess air for it to operate safely without creating high amounts of
    CO. For the Unipower VA Series burner, there is no need to heat up the excess air that is not required in
    the combustion process; thereby reducing fuel consumption and lowering operating costs.

  5. Low CO Emission.The Unipower VA Series burner air modulation allows the burner to operate at
    lower excess air at all firing rates with low CO emission compared to some of the burners that do not
    modulate the air. The CO emission is well below US and European industry standards.

  6. Electrical Power Saving. The component of a power burner that consumes the most electric power
    is the combustion blower. The Unipower VA Series burners use a smaller variable speed blower compared
    to most commercial powers burner that have the same fi ring capacity. However, because the burner uses a
    variable speed blower, it does not always run at the highest speed nor does it require the full use hp of the
    blower. The speed of the motor is relative to the heating requirement. The blower operates at a lower power
    consumption mode if the heat requirement is low. Overall, the Unipower VA Series burner consumes less
    electric power compared to a constant speed blower power burner.

  7. Stainless Steel Construction. The Unipower VA Series burner housing and the control box are all
    made from stainless steel. It has better durability compared with most power burners that uses painted cold
    rolled steel, especially in a harsh environment.

  8. Insertion Depth. Many of similar competition burners have the flame sensing and ignition source
    at the side of the burner limiting the burner insertion depth to a short 6 inches. The Unipower VA Series
    burner flame sensing and the ignition source is located on the burner head (or burner casting), so there is
    no obstruction on the side of the burner that can limit the minimum or maximum insertion depth. Side mount
    pilots are also available.

  9. Quiet Operation. Most of the noise of a power burner is from the blower. Even at high fire, the
    Unipower VA Series burner creates less decibels on noise because the cast aluminum blower is designed
    to reduce the noise levels with efficient output as compared to a conventional sheet metal blower housing for
    standard excess air gas burners.

  10. Robust Design. The Unipower VA Series burner is simple to setup and service. The burner is
    engineered with customer and service personnel in mind. The burner will be completely assembled,
    fire-tested and setup in factory so that the user will require very minimal effort to setup the burner.
